Description

We are a brand new place of accommodation situated in the topcenter of Sofia. In a hand distance you can find the main attractions of Sofia - The Presidency, the Sv.Nedelya church, the largo of Sofia, the Central Halls, the shopping street Vitosha, plenty of bars, coffees and restaurants. In same time we are located in a small and very quiet street. You feel like you are in the heart of the vibrant and crouded capital, but without its unplaisant noises. Our hostel is meant to be a place for relax, so we would like to keep it as our precious oasis of peace. We are MOUNTAINEERS, HIKERS AND BIKERS friendly – here you can find maps and information about treks and trails.
We are not quite a hostel – we combine the comfort of a budget hotel with the hospitality and coziness of a guesthouse and the low prices of a hostel.
The hostel is easily reachable from Central Bus/Train Station - just 20min by walking or 5min by tram. We offer transfers from airport upon request.

Direction

From Central Bus/Train station:
- trams 7 and 1: the tram stop is just in front of the train station. You need to take the tram in direction center. At the Sveta Nedelya sq. you have to get down. Or…. when you see in front of you the big building called BULBANK. Opposite to it is Sheraton hotel. There you have to get down of the tram. We are located in the small street Lavele, which is behind that big building BULBANK. If you take Al.Stamboliiski blvd you have to turn in the second right crossing. But if you take T. Aleksandrov blvd, you have to turn in the first left crossing street. Then it's easy - we are number fourteen!
From AIRPORT: remember: in Sofia there is NO metro line from the airport. There are 2 terminals 2km away from each other and there are different bus numbers, but they both fallow same itinerary. From terminal 1: bus number 84 - take it to the University of Sofia and from there you have to continue by foot - about 20min. You have to follow the "yellow cobblestones" till you reach the building BULBANK. Then fallow the steps, described above. From terminal 2 - look for bus number 284, it also stops at the University.
The easiest and fastest way to get in city center is by taxi. It is not expensive, just be careful with cheating taxi companies. The usual rate is about 0.45/0.50 LEV/km, which makes 15-20leva(7-10 EUR) from airport to the center. Rates are shown on the taxi's window - just look carefully before take it!
