Vila Carioca Hostel is a newly remodeled 1938 mansion in a cozy villa with private security guards, 1 block from subway. We are located in Botafogo neighbourhood, a lively residential area, with bars, restaurants, museums and two shopping malls. Botafogo is centrally located to the beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana, downtown Rio, Corocovado (Cristo Redentor) and Sugar Loaf.

At Vila Carioca Hostel you can make new friends among visitors and locals who are always dropping by. Here you wont feel like a tourist or like a hundred-dollar bill!

We have a family staff that cares about our guests having a great time in the city, taking care of all their needs, even when they leave town. We always make sure our customers get fair trades for their money, not being ripped off by con men, cab drivers etc.

Here you can play with the little monkeys that jump around in the trees or just relax in our barbecue & bar area (with a small garden for sunbathing), in our hammock or chill out in our home theatre.

Our breakfast is a delicious self service buffet with coffee, tea, milk, bread, fruits, jam and cheese.

Any booking made by a guest in the period of a package, must be paid as a FULL package.

EXAMPLE: The guest that books a room from the 17th of February to the 20th of February 2007, will have to pay the FULL PACKAGE of CARNIVAL
