Description

Ho(s)tel Marco Polo is an extremely spacious five stores building with ample bedrooms
and bathroom facilities. We have a range of doubles, quads and dorms, all clean with
modern decoration and large private lockers. We are open all year round and you can always
find somebody at reception round the clock to help you. No matter where you are in
Budapest, you can easily get to the Hostel by bus, metro or tram.

Groups:
Groups of all ages are welcome to Marco Polo! Students can take dorms or quads and our
doubles/twins are perfect for teachers, leaders or drivers. Twins can also be taken as single
rooms.

Rooms:
Our double/twin rooms are quiet, private and feature telephone and TV, plus en-suite
bathroom. Perfect for travelers in need of a little luxury. These can also be taken as single
rooms and some of them as triples ? triple rooms are all twins with an extra bed.
Our quad rooms are bright, comfy and also feature TV, telephone and en-suite bathroom.
These are ideal for families or small groups of friends who wish to stay together. There
are large numbered lockers and all towels and bedding are provided.
We haven?t yet found anything to compare to our 5 dormitory rooms in quality in similar
category accommodations. Nor only are they spacious meticulously clean and well-kept
but each 12-bed room is divided into 2-bunk areas with their own large lockable cupboards.
Each dorm is next to a dedicated bathroom with two sinks, showers and WC?s.
Bar:
The bar is located down in the cellar, but is large and friendly, with space to chat with your
fellow travelers, or simply enjoy the atmosphere.
Buffet breakfast is included in the price, and is served from 7-11am. The bar is open all
through the day and into the evening, when Marco Polo Club offers a wide range of
nightly music events.

Location:
The hostel is centrally located, close to historic sights, entertain nightlife venues ? those
wishing to venture out of the hostel can enjoy the pubs and clubs which are within staggering
distance! We are easily reached by bus, metro and tram to all points of the city. It
is roughly 15 minutes from both the Eastern and Western railway station, and around 40
minutes drive from the Airport.

Direction

From Keleti Railway station:

Take Metro 2 (red line) to Blaha Lujza tér (1 stop) then exit the metro onto Rákóczi út and walk West (away from Keleti). Take the 3rd street on the right and the hostel is directly ahead on the left side of Nyár utca.

Or take bus 7 (not red 7), 7A or 78, 3 stops to Kazinczy utca. Walk back one block and turn left onto Nyár utca.



From anywhere in town

Take metro 3 (blue line) to Ferenciek tere and then take bus 7 (not red 7), 7A or 78 east (away from the river) 2 stops to Vas utca. Walk on to the crosswalk and turn down Nyár utca. The hostel is directly ahead on the left.

Alternatively take tram 4 or 6 around the city ring road (körút) and get off at Blaha Lujza tér. From here you can walk 3 blocks East (or take bus black 7, 7A or 78 one stop and walk back one block) then turn right onto Nyár utca. The hostel is directly ahead on the left.
