Edgy and Modish Glasgow

It is the third largest city in the UK and the largest in Scotland, a main economic and industrial hub, and has been nominated several times as the European City of Culture, City of Music, Capital of Sport and City of Architecture and Design. It has become in the latest years one of the most visited cities in the UK, offering its visitors great shopping possibilities, good parks and museums, and easy access to Scottish highlands and islands.

Having its richest period on the 19th century, the city is full of victorian and edwardian architecture, with many buildings, churches and cathedrals with stunning facades and vibrant interior. It is also the British city with the highest number of parks and green areas, so you can explore some of the amazing gardens, like the botanic garden and the Glasgow Green, the most famous of the city's parks. It has also the very interesting Fossil Groove, that is the remains of an ancient forest 330 million years old, being the unique of its kind in the world.
