The summer holiday season is almost over! We’ve got some great new changes happening at HostelinEurope.com in the next few months – so keep an eye out on our site.

1. HostelinEurope Network News

Welcome to all of the new hostels listed this month – we look forward to working with you all. We’ve got some great new changes planned for the coming months. Soon you’ll see faster search functions, new website graphics and best of all, even more hostels on our listings.

There are new benefits in plan for our top hostels with the website changes. Make sure that you’re one of our top hostels now – just add our links to your pages. Go to http://www.hostelineurope.com/logos.htm where you will find all the logos and codes to add. Remember to email us and let us know if you’ve added our links!

For now, we’d love to work with you on to keep HostelinEurope.com a great site for travellers from all around the world. Do you know of a new hostel that should be listed on our site? Recommend us now! Together, we can spread the word about new hostels all over the globe. Or, have a look below at the other ways that we can work together.

2. About On the Road

'On the Road' is a quick snapshot of cool destinations around the world, an introduction to a city or place that our website guests may be interested in. We already have some great pieces submitted by our staff, as well as hostels and travellers around the globe.

Is there a city missing that should be there? Do you know something about a great city that should be on these pages? Then feel free to write us a short article (max 400 words). We’d like to hear about the sights, what to eat and everything that the locals know that we don't! You get a writers' byline, and your hostel will be listed too.

3. Banner placements on HostelinEurope.com

Make your hostel seen all around the world. You can have your banner shown on HostelinEurope.com and our network. Many hostels have listed their banners with us – and are all happy with the visibility that it gives them! Have a look at the banners currently on our networks here: http://www.hostelineurope.com/sponsor/tuttibanner.asp

HostelinEurope.com is viewed by over 60,000 a month, and over 2,500 hostels are shown on our listings every day. Take advantage of our popular site and advertise with us immediately! We list (in random) a maximum of 100 banners on our network – so make sure you grab a place now.

4. Make sure that your listing is correct

We’ve said it before, and we will say it again – check your listing on HostelinEurope.com to make sure that all your details are up to date! Make sure that our website guests can contact you, or update your hostel description or logo. Add some personality to your listing – use text to describe what makes it different, or provide a logo to make it stand out. The logo needs to be 100x100 pixels, and named (yourhostelname).jpg.

Send us your changes via email at info@hostelineurope.com, with the subject title ‘hostel listing changes’. We’ll have your new details up in no time!

5. Some numbers for this month

We are still growing each day, and are excited to see the numbers of visitors to our site jump. This tells us that we are providing an essential information service, and helping out over 7000 partner hostels.
