1. We’re almost TWO!

It’s cake time again. HostelinEurope.com is reaching another landmark: our 2nd birthday! On October 29, we’re lighting those candles and celebrating some exciting times. And it’s been a big two years – in just a short time, our little baby has grown to over 50,000 site visitors per month, and our databases just keep on growing and growing.

Most importantly, we’d like to thank all our hostels around the world who have supported us throughout the years. It’s been great working with you all - and we look forward to growing even bigger with you.

If you’ll be in Rome at the end of October, then make sure you let us know - we can celebrate together!

2. Big changes abound on HostelinEurope.com

So, it’s our birthday - and what are we doing? Working hard, of course!

We’ve changed servers, created a new database structure and are currently overhauling our graphics. Soon we’ll have the all new, grown-up HostelinEurope.com network to dazzle you with.
We now have a structure of over 16,000 insertions around the world, and have increased the HostelinEurope.com network to over 300 different websites! Not bad for a two year old hey?

Our new server and new-look website will soon be online - all with faster page loads, better search functions and more services offered. Keep an eye out: our makeover is almost complete.

3. Keep in touch - your changes & updates

Even with all these changes on HostelinEurope.com, we’re still open for business as usual. Make sure that your hostel details are up to date for the launch of the new-look website. Just contact us via email on info@hostelineurope.com.

Top Hostels get listed as a recommended hostel for our On the Road articles. This means that you get a direct link to your hostel website! Have a look at how it works on http://www.hostelineurope.com/ontheroad/ontheroad.php.

Do we have an article online for your city? Do you think you can write better? If you want to make sure that you get that extra link, then submit an article to us now. What we’re looking for is a short article on your city - tell us what’s so groovy about it, and where we should go (or not go!) if we’re looking for a great time. Submit an article (max 400 words), and we’ll publish it with your hostel’s name as the author.
