I'd always start from the Concorde Square as it is the starting point of everything, the most beautiful place of Paris. It provides you the full view of Paris, the Champs-Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe, the Lourve and the Garden of Tuileries.
Arc de Triomphe is the major symbol of Paris which you couldn't miss. It stands right at the centre of the 12 main avenues in the city. Another word, it's the heart of the city! While passing through this, it leads us to the most famous street in the world, the Champs-Elysees.
After shopping and so much of walking, most people love to have a drink at the cafe. Seeing people walking pass seems like part of the show, and of course, most of them also enjoy to be seen. But you may like to be carefull of your belonging, while people enjoying the beautiful scene, others might be targeting on your unattended handbags.
If you are an art person, you definately have to visit one of the most famous museum in the world, the Lourve. I was caught by the unique pyramid shape, but I have more interest to visit the museum only after I read “The Code of Da Vinci”. I believe it's worth to visit and doesn't matter if you have not read the book.
Come to my favorite, Eiffel Tower, it is the most beautiful piece I have ever seen. It's possible to climb up the tower but please be prepared for a long Q while getting your ticket. I suggest you visit there during day and night, and i guarantee you would have the same feeling as mine, I was impressed by the differences of her beauty. Especially at night, with the lighting emphasizes her shape, like a giant Christmas tree brighten the entire city. At this moment, everything in front of me would be perfectly romantic.
I have heard a lot of the “Statue of Liberty”, according to document France is her origin. I cannot believe my eyes until I see it by myself. It's grand in New York but over here i have to say it's cute because of her miniature size. Believed me it's much more easier to take picture with this size, whereby if in New York is imposible to get this kind of good composition.
French is a romantic language and people here are so proud of their own language. Some of them even refuse to speak in other language. Don't be surprise if you receive a different “treatment” just because you couldn't speak the same. Please don't let this spoilt your mood as there are so much of other stuff down there waiting for you to discover. Bon Voyage!!
