The Glebe is perfectly suited for individuals or large groups. The open plan living & dining room is extremely versatile for study groups, with plenty of space to hold meetings, workshops or presentations whilst the peaceful sunroom offers a quiet space away from the rest of the group. Conveniently
Eigg is reached by passenger ferry from Mallaig (year round with Caledonian MacBrayne) or Arisaig (summer only with Arisaig Marine). There are 1 or 2 sailings to Eigg a day in the summer and only 4 per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday) between late October to early April.
Please ensure you check Caledonian Macbrayne or Arisaig Marine ferry timetables before booking your stay on Eigg. The Glebe is just over a mile up a steep hill from the pier. Please book a taxi if you would prefer not to walk or have heavy luggage..
The Isle of Eigg, one of the Small Isles, is a beautiful island with spectacular beaches, wildlife, archaeological sites, interesting geology and a vibrant island community. Only 15 minutes from Kildonnan beach and 2-3miles from Laig Beach and Singing Sands, it provides an ideal base for exploring the island. Situated beneath the majestic pitchstone ridge of ?An Sgurr' the Glebe commands magnificent panoramic views across the harbour to the Scottish coastline beyond.

Glebe Barn Policies & Conditions: Cancellation policy: 72 hours before arrival. Check in from 11:30. Check out before 10:00 . Payment upon arrival by cash. Taxes included. Breakfast not included. General: No curfew. Child friendly. Non smoking. We are unfortunately unable to accept pets in the hostel unless you are booking exclusive use of the building for a group booking. Please be aware that you cannot bring your car to the island. We are on a small island with no vehicular access and only 1 ferry per day. We transport luggage from the pier for group bookings but are not able to do so for individual guests. The Glebe is just over a mile up a steep hill from the pier.
