Rome's Fountains

Have you ever hear about Rome?

Maybe you have to sow it in many movies hear many songs, imagine that walk on is road, you can see all. If you walk on the small road you will find out how much feeling and beauty there is in this city, and how beautiful it looks like to your eyes the Eternal City. In every corner, you will have a surprise. You will hear the sound of the water of the fountain before you actually see it. The city of fountains and squares that for centuries have attracted people from all over the world.  Popes Kings Presidents’ peregrines and regular tourists have walked on the same path for thousands of years. The same path that you will use today to enjoy the Eternal City of Rome.

An ideal Itenirery to see the biggest fountain and the Piazza of Rome can be:

Starting from Piazza Della Repubblica, you will see the fountain of Naidas sculptures by Mario Rutelli in 1901 that was one of the last fountain built in Rome.

Next will arrive in Piazza Barberini. At the centre of the piazza is the Fontana del Tritone or Triton Fountain (1642–3) sculpted by Bernini. Another fountain, the Fontana delle Api (1644), also by Bernini is in the nearby Via Vittorio Veneto. After following via Sistina you will reach the top of Spanish Steps and going down the hill you will arrive at the Barcaccia. The Fontana della Barcaccia is a Baroque-style fountain found at the foot of the Spanish Steps in Rome's (Piazza di Spagna) designed by Pietro Bernini in 1623.

Only 5 minutes west you will find the most famous one. The Trevi Fountain designed by Italian architect Nicola Salvi 1732 and completed by Giuseppe Pannini 1762 is the place where everyone likes to be to trow the coin and wish to return to Rome or enjoy this Spectacular view with the lover.

Follow the people you will arrive at the Piazza della Rotonda, The Fontana del Pantheon and is located in the Piazza della Rotonda,  in front of Majesty of the Roman Pantheon. It was designed by Giacomo Della Porta in 1575 and sculpted out of marble by Leonardo Sormani.

The last but maybe the fountain that connects everyone we will arrive here. In piazza Navona there are two fountains the southern end is the Fontana del Moro by Giacomo della Porta (1575), the northern end is the Fountain of Neptune (1574) also created by Giacomo della Porta in the center stands the famous Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi or Fountain of the Four Rivers (1651) by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, topped by the Obelisk of Domitian, brought in pieces from the Circus of Maxentius
