About us
The hostel was established in 2016, however the property was originally built as a personal residence in the 1990's by a Swiss Architect. Our mission is to become the best hostel in Rio de Janeiro - not only for our guests but also for the natural environment, for our staff and for the local community. Accommodation
We currently have 6 rooms in our property which includes 2 private double rooms, a 6 bed female only dorm and 3 mixed dorms ranging from 6 beds to 8 bunk beds. Each bed comes with linen a towel 2 power points a curtain for extra privacy and access to a locker. All rooms have a ceiling fan.

Services and activities
Guests have access to a bar, and games such as pool, fusball table, chess table, common kitchen, veranda, swimming pool and lounge area with a big screen TV and Netflix. A Brazilian buffet breakfast and wifi access is included in the price of the stay.

Surroundings
We are located in Barra de Guaratiba close to many hiking trails including to the famous look out point known as 'Pedra de Telegrafo' there are also many beaches close by that can only be accessed via walking trail or boat. The town is a small fishing village which has a supermarket, medical centre and pharmacy, as well as many great sea food restaurants. Our hostel overlooks a Mangrove filled bay which offers stand up paddle, kayaking, canoeing and boat tours.
