Welcome to Point Break Backpackers! The only hostel at the beach in Christchurch!

We have the ability to suit any backpackers needs! We have comfortable and affordable private rooms for those who want their space and amazing and spacious dorm rooms for those who don’t mind sharing rooms!

Our dorms vary from just 2 people up to 8 people in one room! With great facilities and excellent reception staff, our aim is to make sure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as it can be!

-Daily activities which change all the time! This includes movie nights, BBQ’s during the summer and if you don’t fancy cooking, we do special meal nights for anyone staying with us!

We have a travel desk on site and our staff will be more than happy to help you with any questions you may have on anything from bus tours and car rentals to great activities to do when you head to a new town! We also get the latest information on deals and specials on travelling around our beautiful country!
