Hungary Hungary is a country with a bit of everything, because of its mixed influence by east and west, sourrounded by counties like Slovakia, Romania and Croatia. In western Hungary is situated the Lake balaton which is the second largest inland lake in Europe and a very visited place by tourists. The very historical capital Budapest lying right in the middle of the country, is a city in growth though retaining a strong sence of history, and therefore there is plenty to experience.
